About

Three years building gameplay systems for FiveM roleplay servers.

Background

I’m Gunchi — a FiveM developer with three years designing, building and maintaining gameplay systems, framework functionality and large-scale server features for established UK roleplay communities.

It started in early 2022 as an asset developer for Network 6: clothing, vehicles, mapping and custom props. I wanted to shape how a server played rather than only how it looked, so I taught myself scripting on The Modding Collective’s framework and moved into development properly.

Since then I’ve gone from Developer to Lead Developer to Management across Network 6, Scora Network, Pixel RP and my own projects — designing gameplay systems, owning development roadmaps, mentoring developers and running large-scale framework transitions for communities carrying hundreds of concurrent players.

I also built and ran my own server, Core RP, as sole lead developer — with a large community of dedicated and active players. I closed it deliberately once it could no longer be balanced against everything else, but running it end to end taught me the parts you don’t learn from releasing resources alone: balance, scalability, and what actually brings players back.

Most of what I make is systems work rather than one-off scripts: multi-stage heists with real state to manage, economy loops that have to stay balanced, and integrations that sit quietly underneath someone else’s server. I work to commercial standards — version control, code review, testing and debugging before anything ships — I write the documentation as I go, and I answer my own support.

Experience

Where the work has been, most recent first.

  1. Now

    Independent releases

    store.gunchi.dev

TMC Framework resources used across prominent UK roleplay communities — heists, jobs, progression systems, quality-of-life features and functionality the framework doesn’t ship with.

  2. Founder & Lead Developer

    Core RP

Sole lead developer on a server with a large community of dedicated and active players. Closed deliberately once it could no longer be balanced against everything else — and worth every lesson about balance, scalability and what players actually return for.

  3. Developer → Lead Developer → Management

Network 6 · Scora Network · Pixel RP

Designed and shipped gameplay systems, owned development roadmaps, mentored developers and oversaw large-scale framework transitions for communities supporting hundreds of concurrent players.

  4. Early 2022

    Asset Developer

    Network 6

Where it began: clothing, vehicles, mapping and custom props. Moved into scripting to work on how servers played, not just how they looked.

Approach

The constraints that shape every resource.

01

Idle cost near zero

Resources sit dormant until a player is actually in range. Zone-driven prompts and event-based state instead of per-frame loops.

02

Server-authoritative

Rewards, item grants and progression are decided server-side. The client renders and requests; it never decides what it earned.

03

Configurable, not forked

Rewards, spawns, item requirements and timings live in config. Servers tune the balance without touching the source.

04

Documented on release

Install steps, dependencies and every config value written up before a release goes out — not after someone asks.

Feedback

From server owners running the work.

“Great scripts, never had any issues with them. And whenever I’m unsure or need help, he responds straight away.”

Idemous — Owner, North West Reborn

“Gunchi’s Scripts are easily the best we’ve ever purchased. The support is excellent and always just a message away.”

Brooni — Owner, Origin Network
